Don’t take our word for it

I used to dread opening the pool every summer. Local Pool Co changed that. They show up on time, leave everything spotless, and I finally feel confident about my pool water.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I get my pool serviced?

We recommend weekly or bi-weekly service for most residential pools to maintain water balance, cleanliness, and equipment health. However, we tailor service plans based on your pool’s size, usage, and equipment.

A standard pool maintenance visit typically includes:

  • Skimming the surface to remove leaves and debris

  • Brushing walls, steps, and tiles to prevent algae buildup

  • Vacuuming the pool floor

  • Emptying skimmer and pump baskets

  • Checking and balancing water chemistry

  • Inspecting pool equipment (pump, filter, heater, etc.) for proper function

  • Backwashing the filter if needed

Our goal is to ensure your pool stays clean, safe, and ready to enjoy!

Yes. We use industry-approved, high-quality pool chemicals that are safe when used correctly. After each treatment, we ensure the chemical levels are properly balanced and safe for swimmers and pets. We also recommend keeping kids and pets away from the pool until the water has fully circulated—typically 1–2 hours after service—for optimal safety.

If your pool turns green between visits, it’s usually a sign of algae growth due to factors like heavy rain, heatwaves, or chemical imbalance. Simply give us a call—we’ll schedule a visit to assess the issue and get your pool crystal clear again. Depending on your service plan, this may be included or available at a discounted rate.

Absolutely. Our technicians are trained to service both saltwater and traditional chlorine pools. Whether your system uses a salt cell or standard chlorine, we have the expertise and equipment to keep your pool clean, balanced, and running efficiently.

Not necessarily. For exterior-only services, you don’t need to be home as long as we have access to your pool area. For any interior cleanings or equipment located inside, we do require someone 18 or older to be present to let our team in.

Getting started is easy! Just contact us through our website, give us a call, or request a free quote. We’ll learn about your pool, recommend the right service plan, and schedule your first visit at a time that works for you.
